Im vorgezogenen Donnerstagstagabendspiel konnte unsere 1. Mannschaft ein 1:1 unentschieden gegen die favorisierten Warsteiner erkämpfen. Bei über 30 Grad entwickelte sich nach einer von Taktik geprägten ersten Spielhälfte, in der zweiten Halbzeit eine reine Abwehrschlacht unserer Elf, die nur durch gelegentliche Konter Entlastung fand. Einer dieser Konter führte dann in der 83. Spielminute zur etwas glücklichen 1:0 Führung, als Achmet El Katip einen Torwartabpraller nach Fernschuß von Anatoli Knaus, zur 1 : 0 Führung einnicken konnte. Leider konnten die Warsteiner nur zwei Minuten später bereits den Ausgleich erzielen. Auch wenn dieser Ausgleich unglücklich war, so war das Endergebnis 1 :1 doch verdient und unsere Elf konnte sich über einen Punkt freuen, den sie sich redlich erkämpft haben.
