Krautbundbinden am Heimathaus

Wilde Möhre, Tausendgüldenkraut, Fetthenne und Co

Am Samstag, 13. August 2016 bietet der Traditionsvereins Störmede das Krautbundbinden am Heimathaus an. Um 15 Uhr stehen die traditionell für das Störmeder Krautbund vorgesehenen Kräuter vor der Remise bereit. Der Tradition nach tragen vor allem alle Mädchen, die im nächsten Jahr zur Ersten hl. Kommunion gehen und auch jüngere Madchen ein Krautbund zur hl. Messe, in der die Kräuter geweiht werden. Die hl. Messe mit Kräutersegnung findet am Sonntag, 14.8.2016 um 10 Uhr in der St.Pankratius Pfarrkirche in Störmede statt. Alle Kräuter haben heilende Wirkung auf Mensch und Tier und sollen in Haus oder Stall aufbewahrt werden. Der Traditionsverein hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, diesen alten Brauch am Leben zu erhalten und die Kenntnisse über die Kräuter und besonders die Zusammensetzung des Störmeder Krautbundes weiterzugeben.
