Unfall mit zwei Leichtverletzten

Heute Morgen befuhr ein 39-jähriger Mercedesfahrer aus Salzkotten um 07.20 Uhr die Bundesstraße 1 (Erwitter Straße) von Geseke in Richtung Erwitte. An der Kreuzung mit der Rüthener Straße erkannte er zu spät, dass der vor ihm fahrende Fahrer eines Opel-Astra trotz Grünlichts verkehrsbedingt im Kreuzungsbereich anhalten musste. Der Mercedes prallte auf das Heck des Opel auf. Unmittelbar danach prallte eine 46-jährige Polofahrerin aus Geseke auf das Heck des Mercedes und schob diesen erneut auf den Opel auf. Auch diese Fahrerin hatte auf das Grünlicht der Ampel vertraut und nicht damit gerechnet, dass die voraus fahrenden Fahrzeuge halten mussten. An den drei Autos entstand Sachschaden von rund 25000,- Euro. Der Polo war nicht mehr fahrbereit und musste abgeschleppt werden. Die Polofahrer wurde leicht verletzt ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert, der Fahrer des Mercedes wurde ebenfalls leicht verletzt und musste ambulant behandelt werden.
