Sechs Punkte bleiben in Störmede

Am Sonntag konnten unsere beiden Seniorenmannschaften ihre Heimspiele siegreich gestalten. Die 2. Mannschaft zeigte trotz des feststehenden Abstiegs in die D-Liga Moral und konnte das letzte Heimspiel der Saison überzeugend mit 5:2 gewinnen. Die Erste hatte gegen die Kicker von Athlitikis Lippstadt erheblich mehr Mühe, konnte aber in diesem enorm wichtigen Spiel gegen den Abstieg mit 1:0 die Oberhand behalten. Da unser Tabellenachbar Rüthen auch siegreich war und Langeneicke die Abstiegsränge nicht verlassen konnte, fällt die Entscheidung über den Klassenerhalt erst am kommenden Sonntag. Wenn Langeneicke den Klassenerhalt mit einem Auswärtssieg in Wünnenberg, bei gleichzeitiger Niederlage von Elsen beim Tabellenführer Bad Westernkotten, gelingt, bleiben wir unabhängig vom sonntäglichen Ergebnis in der A-Liga. Sollte Langeneicke absteigen, müssen wir zwingend in Lipperode gewinnen, um bei einem gleichzeitigen Sieg der Rüthener gegen Cappel, die Chance auf ein Entscheidungsspiel über den Klassenerhalt zu bewahren. Für Spannung ist also gesorgt und es gilt die Nerven im Griff zu behalten, damit wir am Sonntag hoffentlich nach einer unglücklichen Saison aufatmen können und etwas zu feiern haben.
