1. AOK-Firmen-Staffel-Triathlon in Paderborn mit Störmeder Beteiligung

Am Sonntag, den 30. Mai 2010, fand in der Innenstadt von Paderborn der 8. Paderborner City-Triathlon statt. Erstmalig wurde in diesem Rahmen der 1. AOK-Firmen-Staffel-Triathlon ausgerichtet. Insgesamt nahmen 40 Firmen-Staffeln teil. Eine Staffel bestand aus drei Teilnehmern, die jeweils eine Teildisziplin des City-Triathlons absolvierten: 500 Meter Schwimmen, 20 Kilometer Radfahren und 5 Kilometer Laufen. Markus Struwe startete mit einer Staffel vom Gemeindeverband Hochstift Paderborn, bei der er nach den Schwimmern die Radstrecke von 20 Kilometern absolvierte und anschließend den Staffelstab an den Läufer übergab. Bei trockenem Wetter und zahlreichen Zuschauern auf dem Maspernparkplatz und entlang der Strecke beendete die Staffel den Wettbewerb mit einem guten Platz im Mittelfeld. Anschließend bereiteten die Athleten bei kühlen Getränken und einem abwechslungsreichen Rahmenprogramm den Start im nächsten Jahr schon mal gedanklich vor.
