Polizei geht von Brandstiftung aus und hofft auf Zeugenhinweise
Am Dienstag, gegen 22.30 Uhr, bemerkte ein Autofahrer, der auf der Rüthener Straße von Eringerfeld in Richtung Störmede fuhr, westlich des Grottwegs einen Feuerschein. Er informierte die Feuerwehr, die direkt neben einer Feldscheune einen brennenden Ballenwagen vorfand. Das Feuer konnte schnell gelöscht werden, die Reifen und die Holzladefläche verbrannten allerdings, so dass der Schaden etwa 2000,- Euro beträgt.
Nach Einschätzung der Polizei könnte Brandstiftung vorliegen, so dass Zeugen gesucht werden. Wer Hinweise zu tatverdächtigen Personen geben kann, sollte sich bei der Kripo in Lippstadt unter Telefon 02941-91000 melden.
