Mit einem 6:0 Erfolg beim B-Ligisten FC Mönninghausen und ohne eine einzige gelbe Karte erreichte unsere 1. Mannschaft die dritte Runde im Kreispokal. Bereits in der dritten Spielminute erzielte Vitali Hildebrand die 1:0 Führung für unsere Elf und sorgte somit für die nötige Sicherheit, um den Mönninghäuser Kickern ihre Grenzen aufzuzeigen. In der 40. Spielminute erhöhte wiederrum Vitali zur 2:0 Pausenführung. Kurz nach dem Seitenwechsel konnte Vitali Hildebrand zum 3:0 einnetzen. Oliver Franken traf in der 55. Minute zum 4:0 und Neuzugang Achmed El Kathib besorgte das 5:0 in der 65. Spielminute. Eugen Janßen beendete den Torreigen mit einem verwandelten Foulelfmeter in der 78. Spielminute. Die nächste Pokalbegegnung ist für den 22. November angesetzt. Gegner ist endweder Schmerlecke auswärts oder ein Heimspiel gegen Stirpe.
