Besuch am Heimathaus

Am vergangenen Sonntag war der Kirchenchor der Gemeinde Ostenland (bei Delbrück) zu Gast beim Heimathaus. Der Chor nutzte die Gelegenheit, im Rahmen seines Jahresausfluges, unser Heimathaus zu besichtigen. Zuvor wurde jedoch die Frühstücksrast gehalten. Bei herrlichem Wetter und Sonnenschein konnte draußen das Frühstück eingenommen werden. Anschließend übernahm der Vorsitzende des Traditionsvereins, Franz-Josef Kemper-Köster die Führung durchs Heimathaus. Man konnte leuchtende Augen bei den Gästen erkennen, als sie die ständigen Ausstellungen des Hauses besichtigten. Einigen älteren Mitgliedern des Chores kannten noch die beiden Störmeder Schäfer Brinkmann (gen. Plüme, Jupp und Johannes) sowie „Peitz“ Schäfer, die noch bis in die 60er Jahre mit ihren Herden bis nach Ostenland zogen, um ihre Schafe zu weiden. Auch stammte Frau Brinkmann geb. Wiesing aus Ostenland. Die Gäste bedankten sich und setzten ihren Ausflug fort.
