Fahnenwegbringen und Vogelkrönen
Traditionsgemäß werden vor dem Störmeder Schützenfest die Fahnen der Jungmänner-, der Männer- und der Ehrenkompanie zu den neuen Fahnenquartieren gebracht. Unter musikalischer Begleitung von Tambourkorps und Musikzug marschieren die alten Fahnenabordnungen mit den Jungschützen am kommenden Dienstag um 19.00 Uhr an der Kirchstraße ab, um die Fahnen an die neuen Fähneriche Oliver Wollin, Ferdinand Haselhorst und Josef Wrede zu übergeben. Zeitgleich findet ebenfalls ab 19.00 Uhr das Vogelkrönen durch das Königspaar Martin Pieper und Sarah Kemper mit dem Hofstaat auf dem Hof „Maas-Scheck“ statt. Zum Vogelkrönen laden die Vogelbauer vom Stammtisch „Die Ruhigen Sieben“ alle Dorfbewohner ganz herzlich ein. Auch der Ausklang des Fahnenwegbringens findet natürlich beim Vogelkrönen statt.
