Mit einem ungefährdeten 7:1 Heimsieg gegen Germania Stirpe konnte unsere 1. Mannschaft die Meisterschaft in der Kreisliga B perfekt machen. Weit mehr als 150 Zuschauer mußten auf dem Störmeder Sportgelände zur Halbzeit mit einem 1:1 zufrieden sein, durften dann aber in der zweiten Spielhälfte noch sechs Mal jubeln und nach Spielende den verdienten Meister SuS Störmede feiern. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen einer lebhaften Partie war die schwere Verletzung eines Stirpers Spielers, der nach einem Zweikampf ins Krankenhaus transportiert werden mußte.
