Auf der Tennisanlage des TC-Störmede fand am Gösselkirmes-Sonntag, 06.05.07, das erste Hobby-Turnier der Damen aus Ehringhausen und Störmede statt. Gespielt haben 25 Damen, die sich mit immer wieder neu zugelosten Partnerinnen im Doppel gegenüber standen. Bei herrlichstem Tenniswetter war es ein Vergnügen, Tennis zu spielen oder bei Kaffee und Kuchen zuzusehen. Am Ende gab es weder Preise noch Pokale, denn die Geselligkeit sollte im Vordergrund stehen.

In diesem Sinne war man sich schnell einig, das Turnier im nächsten Jahr zu wiederholen.
