Auf dem Weg von Störmede über Ehringhausen nach Mönninghausen wurden bekanntlich zahlreiche Bäume beschädigt (wir berichteten).
In der gleichen Nacht wurde, lt. Pfarrer Thomas Schmidt, an der Kapelle Ehringhausen ein Parkplatzschild mitsamt dem Betonfundament aus dem Boden gehebelt und die Pastoralverbundsfahne vom Masten heruntergezerrt und zerrissen.
Aufgrund dieser und der Zerstörungen im letzten Jahr steht auch in diesem Jahr vor dem Pfarrhaus kein Weihnachtsbaum mehr. Im letzten Jahr mußten über 100 Birnchen ersetzt werden und der Elektriker war Dauergast, da des öfteren Stromkabel aus dem Verteiler herausgerissen waren und stromführende Kabel blank lagen.

Pfarrer Thomas Schmidt:
Deshalb haben wir die Advents-und Weihnachtsbeleuchtung an das Pfarrhaus und an die Klosterkirche verlegt. Guter Nebeneffekt dieser Zwangsmaßnahme: die beleuchtete Silouette von Haus Nazareth, Klosterkirche und Pfarrhaus gibt ein sehr schönes und feierliches Bild.

Der besondere Dank von Pfarrer Thomas Schmidt gilt dem Vorstand der St.Pankratius-Schützenbruderschaft für die Montage der Lichterketten.
