Erntedank in St.Pankratius

Am vergangenen Samstag, dem 1. Oktober feierte die katholische Kirchengemeinde St. Pankratius den Erntedankgottesdienst. Die Gläubigen in der Kirche dankten Gott für die Ernte des Jahres und alle guten Gaben. Bereits am Morgen wurde der Altarraum durch unsere Küsterin Frau Sigge und Helfer und Helferinnen eines Stammtisches aus Störmede für die feierliche Messe am Abend geschmückt. Ein Störmeder Karren, beladen mit Obst und Gemüse, ist in diesem Jahr der Mittelpunkt des Schmuckes. Die Erntekrone aus Getreide ist ein weiteres Schmuckstück der herbstlichen Dekoration. Nach der Hl. Messe wurden, wie in jedem Jahr, Minibrote für einen wohltätigen Zweck verkauft. Pfarrer Schmidt sagt den Helfern und Helferinnen „Herzlichen Dank“.“
