Kartoffeln ernten mit altem Roder

Am heutigen Samstag trafen sich die Mitglieder des Traditionsvereins Störmede, um zu demonstrieren, wie früher Kartoffeln geerntet wurden. Zunächst kam eine alter Roder zum Einsatz, danach wurden die Kartoffeln mit der Hand aufgesammelt. Um auch wirklich alle Kartoffeln zu erwischen, wurde noch einmal geeggt und wieder musste fleißig gesammelt werden. Die Ernte viel übrigens sehr gut aus. Die schwerste Kartoffel wog ca. 1010 Gramm.
Hintergrund dieser Aktion ist das am 02.Oktober geplante Kartoffelfest am Heimathaus. Ab 15:00 Uhr werden dann verschiedenste Sorten abgesackt und zum Verkauf angeboten. Im Anschluss daran werden schmackhafte Gerichte rund um die Kartoffel angeboten. ->Fotos
