Gegen eine spielstarke Mannschaft aus Hilbeck war der Einzug ins Halbfinale nicht möglich. Trotz einer ungewöhnlichen taktischen Variante von Teamchef Udo Lass (Detlev Lass und Reinhard Otte spielten Manndecker, dafür Winni Maas und Carsten Markowski im Sturm und Kurt Marx als Kopfballungeheur im Sturmzentrum) war uns ein Sieg nicht vergönnt. Obwohl die neue Taktik zunächst aufging. Hinten sicher und vorne machte Carsten den 1:0 Führungstreffer. Durch einen strittigen Elfmeter gelang Hilbeck 5 Minuten vor der Pause der 1:1 Ausgleichstreffer. Nach einem Sonntagstreffer lag Hilbeck mit 2:1 vorn. Dann tauschten Sturm und Abwehr ihre Positionen. In einer ca. 15-minütigen Drangperiode, in der wir zahlreiche gute Chancen nicht in Tore ummünzen konnten fiel das 3:1 für Hilbeck. Schade! Dann noch ein Elfmeter für Hilbeck und es stand 4:1. So waren wir auf gleichem Platz wie im letzten Jahr ebenfalls im Viertelfinale ausgeschieden. Besonders zu erwähnen bleibt die Superleistung von Reinhard Deiters, der ein paar Unhaltbare entschärfte. Und besonders freuen wir uns über das Comeback von Hubi Dicke. In der zweiten Halbzeit eingewechselt ließ er das ein oder andere mal sein altes Können aufblitzen. Auf ein neues im nächsten Jahr !!!
