Nachdem beide Damen-40-Mannschaften die Meisterschaft in ihren Gruppen im Tenniskreis Lippstadt gewonnen hatten musste nun das vereinsinterne Duell über den Aufstieg in die Bezirksklasse entscheiden.
Das hat es in dieser Form im Tenniskreis noch nicht gegeben, was die Ausnahmestellung beider Mannschaften verdeutlicht.
Das Endspiel konnte die erste Damen-40 dann recht deutlich mit 9:0 für sich entscheiden, wobei die Spielerinnen der zweiten Damen-40 durchaus zeigen konnten, dass sie nicht ohne Grund die Meisterschaft in ihrer Gruppe geworden sind. Und das gleich im ersten Jahr nach Mannschaftsgründung.
Dieses Endspiel wurde dann auch völlig zu Recht gemeinsam bis in die Morgenstunden gefeiert.
