Erfolgreichste Saison seit Vereinsgründung

Mit der abgeschlossenen Meisterschaftssaison ist der Vorsitzende des TC Störmede, Franz Levenig, mehr als zufrieden.

Von 21 Mannschaften (8 Senioren- und 13 Jugend-Mannschaften) konnten 12 Meistertitel und 7 zweite Plätze erzielt werden. „Das ist die erfolgreichste Saison des TC Störmede seit der Vereinsgründung 1979“ bilanziert Franz Levenig, der sich darüber hinaus über die Rekordzahl von 21 gemeldeten Mannschaften freute, auch das ist eine neue Rekord-Beteiligung.

Zwei Meistertitel gewannen die Damen-40-Mannschaften, die das Endspiel um den Aufstieg gegeneinander ausgetragen haben. Zweiter in ihren Gruppen wurde die erste Herren-30-Mannschaft und die neue Herren-60-Mannschaft, die erst im letzten Spiel bei RW Geseke unglücklich mit 2:4 verloren hat.

Sensationelle 10 Meistertitel holten die Kinder und Jugendlichen des TC Störmede, das ist einzigartig im Tenniskreis Lippstadt. Im Entscheidungsspiel der Tenniskreise Lippstadt und Gütersloh unterlag die erste U10-Mixed-Gruppe nach großartigen Spielen erst gegen den hohen Favoriten von Blau Weiß Halle.
