Das war ein Saisonauftakt nach Maß!
Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten entwickelte sich noch ein ansehnliches Fussballspiel, aus dem unsere Elf als verdienter Sieger vom Platz ging.
Auf einem sehr schwer bespielbaren Platz in Westerkotten waren unsere Spieler immer etwas eher am Ball. Diese Überlegenheit spiegelte sich letztendlich auch im Ergebnis wieder.
Zwei wunderschöne Tore erzielte Hans-Bernd Schäfer, der dem generischen Torhüter absolut keine Chance ließ.
Die beiden anderen Treffer erzielten Reinhard Otte und Detlev Lass.
