Geschichte im Heimathaus erlebbar machen

Am vergangenen Wochenende 22./23. März 2025 stellten Dr. Helmut Mauermann, Elisabeth Mauermann und Ulrike Rubarth ein detailliertes Modell des ehemaligen Hofes im Taubental vor. Vielen Walkern und Wanderern ist das Areal im Taubental als idyllisches Fleckchen Erde mit Mauerresten bekannt, viele Ältere aus Störmede, Eringerfeld und Steinhausen erinnerten sich gern an den Hof bewohnt und bewirtschaftet von der Familie Dömer- Vorfahren der Familie Mauermann.

Als Zeitzeugin erläuterte Elisabeth Mauermann das Hofleben in der Abgeschiedenheit des Taubentals. Weite Wege nach Störmede zur Schule und nach Eringerfeld zur Kirche, Leben ohne Elektrizität (bis 1945) und Wasserknappheit prägten das Leben weit ab von den Dörfern. Frau Mauermann stellte auch ihr Buch „Rund ums Taubental“ vor.

Viele Besucher ließen sich außerdem das Modell des „Fliegerhorstes Störmede“ aus erster Hand vom Erbauer Helmut Mauermann erläutern.
