Hl. Isidor wacht über Erntedank

In der letzten Woche fand die plattdeutsche Messe des Arbeitskreises Platt im Traditionsverein Störmede 1978 e.V. statt. Zelebrant Pastor Schöning konnte zahlreiche Messbesucher begrüßen. Als besonders schöne Erntedankaktion präsentierte  sich zum ersten Mal eine alte, bleiverglaste Darstellung des Hl. Isidor, Schutzpatron der Bauern aus Störmeder Privatbesitz.Stimmungsvoll angeleuchtet wacht nun Isidor über den Erntedank der gesamten Gemeinde. Das ist echte Tradition. Ein wunderbar geschmückter Altar, der alle Erntegaben zeigte, rundet das Bild ab. Alle Messen und Wortgottesdienste – also alle Besucher können sich im Oktober an den Dank erinnern, den wir für gute Ernten empfinden sollten.
