Krautbundbinden

Zum Fest Mariä Himmelfahrt ist es eine alte Tradition Krautbunde zu  binden.
Der Traditionsverein Störmede lädt zu dieser Aktion am 14. August um 15.00 Uhr am Heimathaus ein.  Die traditionellen Arten von Kräutern werden aus den umliegenden Feldern und Wiesen von fleißigen Helfern und Helferinnen zuvor gesammelt. Zum Binden der Krautbunde laden wir  Kinder mit ihren Müttern und Vätern unseres Dorfes  dazu ein.
Nach altem Brauch werden die Krautbunde im Hochamt auf dem Fest Märiä Himmelfahrt (15. August) in der St. Pankratius – Kirche geweiht. Die geweihten Kräuter fanden und finden  in Haus und Hof bei Erkrankungen ihre Verwendung.
Nach dem Krautbundbinden soll der Nachmittag bei Hot Dogs, Waffeln und kühlen Getränken ausklingen.
