Das hatte sich die Alte Herren wirklich schwerer vorgestellt. Gegen Verne gab es in der Vergangenheit immer nur knappe Siege. Störmede war das ganze Spiel überlegen. In Führung gingen aber die Verner. Markus „Kniff“ Schnelle hatte irgendwie noch nicht den richtigen Kniff raus und erzielte mit einem unhaltbaren Schuss die Verner Führung. Sein Stammtischkollege Mario drehte das Ergebnis aber auf 2:1. Nach einem sicher verwandelten Foulelfmeter von Keeper Reinhard Deiters stand es 3:1. Zwei weitere Treffer von Mario bedeuteten das 5:1. Nach toller Vorarbeit von „Sturmtank“ Heinz Röhrig setzte Reinhard Otte mit dem 6:1 den Schlusspunkt. Das nächste Spiel findet am kommenden Donnerstag in Büren statt. Am Samstag ist es dann wieder soweit. Der alljährliche Wandertag der Alte Herren steht an. Nach einem zünftigen Frühstück bei Carsten Markowski werden die Wanderstiefel geschnürt und dann geht´s nach…… Das wird noch nicht verraten.
