Schnadgang auf Christi Himmelfahrt

Traditionsgemäß führt die St.Pankratius-Schützenbruderschaft am Christi Himmlefahrts-Tag den Störmeder Schnadgang durch. Mit der Begehung der alten Gemarkungsgrenzen vor der kommunalen Neuordnung wird eine lange Tradition gepflegt und erhalten. In diesem Jahr werden die Schnadgänger die westlichen und südlichen Grenzen zu Langeneicke und Eringerfeld begehen und dort den Grenzverlauf überprüfen. Am Vatertag (Do., 25.05.2006) treffen sich die Schnadgänger um 12.30 Uhr am Ehrenmal, Festes Schuhwerk wird empfohlen. Die 1. Rast wird am Schnadstein am „Doktorpfad“ an der Oestereidener Straße eingelegt, die 2. Rast an den Alten Bunkern am Holzwindelweg. Anschließend werden alle Schnadgänger, angeführt von Königspaar und Hofstaat, an der B 1 vom Tambourkorps Störmede abgeholt und zur Schützenhalle begleitet, wo der Ausklang des diesjährigen Schnadgangs stattfindet. Zu der Veranstaltung ist natürlich wieder die ganze Dorfbevölkerung herzlich eingeladen.
