Spielbetrieb wird für dieses Jahr eingestellt

Der Fußball- und Leichtathletik-Verband Westfalen (FLVW) schickt seine Vereine vorzeitig in die Winterpause. Nachdem die spielleitenden Stellen den Spielbetrieb bereits für den November absetzen mussten, wird der Ball in Westfalen auch im Dezember nicht mehr rollen. Dies gilt für alle Amateur- und Jugendspielklassen sowie Freundschaftsspiele auf Verbands- und Kreisebene.

„Nach den jüngsten Einschätzungen der Bundes- und Landesregierung ist nicht realistisch zu erwarten, dass der Spielbetrieb im Amateur- und Jugendbereich noch in diesem Jahr wieder zugelassen wird. Der FLVW hat sich deshalb entschlossen, im Dezember keine Spiele mehr anzusetzen.  Wann die Saison fortgesetzt wird, hängt maßgeblich vom Infektionsgeschehen und den politischen Entscheidungen ab.

Eine verkürzte Winterpause und ein früherer Re-Start im Januar ist denkbar. Unverändert gilt, dass man den Vereinen eine mindestens zweiwöchige Vorbereitungszeit einräumen wird.
