Stopschild beschädigt und geflüchtet

Am Freitagnachmittag, gegen 16.30 Uhr, beschädigte ein bislang unbekannter Fahrzeugführer das Stopzeichen an der Einmündung B1 / Brenker Weg. Ein Zeuge hatte einen Wagen mit hoher Geschwindigkeit die B1 von Geseke in Richtung Erwitte fahren hören. Anschließend hatte er Reifenquietschen vernommen. Der Zeuge konnte beobachten, wie der Pkw beim Rechtsabbiegen frontal gegen das Stopschild prallte und dieses abknickte. Mit durchdrehenden Reifen entfernte sich der Verursacher von der Unfallstelle. In kurzer Entfernung vom Unfallort nahm der Fahrer seinen Wagen in Augenschein und setzte anschließend seine Fahrt in Richtung Störmede fort, ohne sich um den angerichteten Schaden zu kümmern. Aufgrund der einsetzenden Dämmerung konnte der Zeuge nur erkennen, dass es sich bei dem Fahrzeug um einen dunklen VW-Golf handelte. Dieser müsste im Frontbereich stark beschädigt sein.
