Traditionsverein Störmede 1978 e.V. erhält Heimatpreis 2022

Mit großer Freude nahmen Vertreter des Traditionsvereins Störmede am 21. 12. 2022

eine tolle Auszeichnung entgegen. Für die Ausstellung „Nadel, Faden, Fingerhut – Wir

gehen an die Wäsche … drunter und drüber“ erhielt der Traditionsverein Störmede

1978 e.V. den Heimatpreis der Stadt Geseke 2022. Den 2. Preis erhielt Josef Koch aus

Geseke, der bekannt ist für seine Fotografien und Archive.

Die Ausstellung im Heimathaus, die das Handwerk der Schneider und das

der Weißnäherinnen dokumentierte, wurde in kurzer Zeit von ca. 250 Besuchern gesehen.

Viele Störmeder haben wertvolle Exponate zur Verfügung

gestellt und ihre Geschichten dazu erzählt. Die Wertschätzung für Kleidung und Wäsche, die

Wertschätzung für gute Handwerksarbeit wurden gezeigt und man kann sagen: „Besser kann

man Heimat nicht erzählen!“ Die Bewerbung des Traditionsvereins Störmede nimmt nun auch

am Landeswettbewerb des Landes NRW teil.
